What is Lego Robotics?
Not many people realize that LEGO makes robots. These robots are called Lego Mindstorms, and the most recent version is the Lego Mindstorms NXT. These sets are excellent for kids 8-100! I LOVE playing with the Lego robotics kit, and I'm a teacher. with your students. Links have been included to samples and tools to help your project be a great success.
First Lego League
It gets even better! Not only can you build robots using Lego Mindstorms NXT, you can form a team and complete a challenge to compete against other teams! The organization that sponsors these competitions is called the First Lego League, or FLL.
